Etiquette in Requesting Nuns to Pray for Parish Ministry

Dear Forum,

Is there an etiquette in requesting nuns or other religious to pray for a parish ministry? For example, I would like to request some local Carmelite Sisters to pray for our parish RCIA ministry.

I would like to make a donation, even a monthly recurring donation. Is there a “normal” amount for this type of request?

Is it too much to ask for this to be an ongoing prayer request, considering this ministry is year-round?

Any other etiquette you can think of will be helpful.

Just be nice and ask. No donations necessary unless you want to give. Peace.
 
Contact them and ask what their policy is for prayer requests and go from there.
