Jesus is fully human and therefore has a human soul (created at the instant of His conception in Mary’s womb, just like ours) inextricably united to His eternal divinity. He is God and man, not God in a human suit.
I think that Jesus conveyed His message and we (the early Church) have been formulating explanations often using Greco-Roman philosophical terms. The reality of some concepts is probably beyond human language in terms of complete understanding.
