Does Christ get physically hurt when the Eucharist is desecrated? I found [a] clip on YouTube. It’s a good thing that the way they chose to desecrate the Host was through burning since that changes its substance and the Real Presence is no longer there.

If Christ in heaven goes “OUCH!” every time His Holy Eucharistic Body is chewed, then, yes, desecration of the Eucharist physically hurts Him in heaven.

The SUBSTANCE is the SUBSTANCE of the Body and Blood of Christ. It’s the ACCIDENTS that might change by burning.

The Eucharist is the REAL PRESENCE of Christ. If it was no longer there, then there would be no need to steal and desecrate it. The Real Presence doesn’t change just because someone decides to burn it.

Whether you chose to chew the eucharist or let it melt, God willing, you have reverance for Christ presence in the Eucharist. Therefore no one is hurt, to use your terminology. However, anytime we are disrespectful to Christ, whether it is through lack of reverance for the Eucharist, ignoring our neighbors, abortion, etc., I am sure that God our Father and Christ our Savior HURT.
