Eucharist experience

I was received into the Catholic Church last Saturday. I was already baptized in a Lutheran church, so I received confirmation and the first communion. I have now received communion twice. It is amazing. I don’t remember experiencing anything like that. Sin feels repulsive like never before, even those I have struggled with. I would like to just serve Christ with my life. At the same time, I feel sorrow that there are people I know, even in the Catholic Church, who don’t appreciate this treasure available to them. I wish all people could become Catholics.
 
You’ve been blessed. Being a cradle Catholic, I relish the stories of converts and their experiences. Helps to share in them. :blessyou::angel1::flowers:

Congrats on your conversion of heart!! The graces from the sacraments do help us see sin as repulsive and help us to avoid every occasion of sin!

I am so very happy for you! We are so blessed in our Catholic faith. I think you would really enjoy Eucharistic adoration. I hope you have an adoration chapel near you. God bless.

Welcome to the true faith!! I truly understand your overwhelming feeling. Being a cradle Catholic myself I still get the same feeling everytime I receive The Eucharist. I hope you will have a chance to experience the Eucharist Adoration, too. You will really feel His Presence there. God bless you abundantly!!!

Welcome home!

As a Catholic revert, I didn’t appreciate the gift of the Eucharist and the Church until more recently.
