It seems quite common to hear among the women priests crowd\homosexual agenda people a description of the Eucharist as Eucharist, stressing the meaning of the word as Thanksgiving over the Real Presence of Christ.
Why is this? I understand that the word Eucharist does mean thanksgiving but am I wrong in being irked when I hear a lecture about the Mass and I continually hear phrases such as, “when we gather for Eucharist, we become the Body of Christ”
I understand how this can be understood in a Catholic sense, but I believe the understanding behind the dissident expression is meant to mislead people and give them a sense that we become Christ and God is centered in each other, rather than we receive Christ and we need to see Christ in each person.
Am I wrong?
God Bless
