Eucharist Poll - Receiving Style

I receive with my hand…
But someone old at church said that’s not a good way…
So I might change it up…based on these results.
 
I try to go directly in mouth, but sometimes it causes confusion as I don’t say “Amen” recieving the Body. Last week, my priest kept whispering it under his breath until I broke and said it, but I’m under the impression that, when recieving on the tongue, one doesn’t say “Amen.”
 
Did your PRIEST say it was wrong to receive it by the hand? Did your BISHOP’S CONFERANCE say it was wrong to receive it by the hand?

I receive by hand if I’m not serving as an EMHC- otherwise I receive on the tongue. I’d like to get into the practice of receiving on the tongue at all times, but I receive so infrequently that it might slip my mind.
 
I always receive on the tongue, unless I know I’m sick. Then I receive on my hand.
 
I’m in the same boat as Fauken. I receive on the tongue unless i’m not feeling well.
 
“Amen” is prescribed in the Ordinary Form but not the Extraordinary Form. The manner of reception is irrelevant.
 
This really doesn’t seem like a representative sample in my view, as the overwhelming majority of people receive communion in the hand around here.

Why would you think that?
 
“And now I no longer call you slaves, but friends,” Jesus’ words. I like to hold my friend in my hand. I don’t think He is insulted. As to those who disagree with me, meh!
