The reason I ask is because I have a ‘non-Catholic Christian’

mate who is going to come to Mass with me and I just feel strange telling her that she can’t receive the Eucharist… I mean, shouldn’t everybody be free to receive the body of Christ? Who are we to deny this to people? I think that Jesus died for all people and that all people should be able to receive his body in the Eucharist no matter their denomination…
I dunno, it just seems strange to deny people something so special just because they aren’t Catholic. I feel that the Eucharist shouldn’t be this exclusive Catholic part of the Mass. It’s just too important to deny people this sacrament…
