A co-worker and fellow CA forum member IM’ed me on this story that appeared in Spirit Daily:
Normally, I do not put much credence into these types of stories by Allegri is a fairly well know Catholic author and I have read Padre Pio: A Man of Hope by him and am thinking of getting Fatima: The Story Behind the Miracles which is co-authored by him.
I am just wondering what other people think.

A major Catholic writer in Italy asserts that in 1999 a Eucharistic “miracle” occurred in the lower basilica of Lourdes – the famous site in the French Pyrenees where Mary appeared to St. Bernadette 141 years before.
The writer, Renzo Allegri, author of books on assorted Catholic topics, including St. Padre Pio and John Paul II, claims that the event occurred during a Mass con-celebrated with the archbishop of Paris, Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger
