Since the Host were dry and in two closed containers, it should be no surprise that the condition was perfect. Unleavened bread has an incredibly long shelf-life. The U.S. Military incorporates similar consumables into its rations.

There’s an Ethiopian Orthodox Monk who takes a lifelong oath to guard the Ark with his life.
The Ark of the New Covenant is Mary, who of course is in Heaven.

Hosts usually mold and deteriorate within a week or so because it doesnt have artificial ingredients. It’s likened to the Eucharistic Miracle of Siena in 1730 where the same thing happened.
