That’s awesome, Holly!I am definitely fascinated by Eucharistic Miracles. The one that fascinates me the most is the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, Italy.
That said, I had a Eucharistic Miracle, so to speak, of my own once. I was in the mental health ward of the hospital and my pastor, Fr. Dave, brought me Holy Communion. When he held up the Eucharist and was praying the prayers I could literally see flesh and veins in the host. It was amazing. Now, granted, you could say that because I do experience hallucinations when I am having psychosis that this was just a hallucination. However, I told Fr. Dave about it right after I received Communion and he smiled at me and acted as though it was a real miracle. Regardless of whether it was a real miracle or not, it definitely strengthened my faith in the Real Presence.![]()
