Yes, I have found the same (again).
There was one miracle talked about on this site…and I tracked down one of the doctors in Germany who was mentioned in the article–got her by email. Maria somebody. I can’t remember the details now (I was looking for the post but could not find it…).
She emailed me back and told me there were many, many errors in the internet posts that had been going around about the “miracle” that were factually incorrect (I had copied them and sent them to her)…but on our next email exchange, she told me she was not allowed to talk about it anymore, and referred me to a Church official in the area.
That person never did get back to me on it.
It has happened several times where I’ve tried to find documentation or talk to a doctor etc being quoted in the article but…dead ends.
If there is actual scientific documentation of laboratory tests done on some of these wafers that actually show a wafer that has turned into flesh, I’m not understanding…why is this documentation not made public?
Are any?
I can’t think of any reason not to. In fact, it would only be for the good of the religion to do so.

.
I’m not sure which “miracle” your talking about but if it’s still under investigation nothing will be revealed until that’s completed. God Bless, memaw

'm sure you agree that people can’t just believe supernatural stories because someone told them they are true, right?/
I found your whole post to have missed most of the points made in the thread and I’m really not interested in going into it with you, but this one really made me laugh out loud. seems the whole God concept went over your head never mind this thread.
🙂
if you don’t want to believe knock yourself out.👍

I have realised that although most people of faith come here to learn about their faith and many come here to inquire about the faith, the site has many people who come here simple to try and shake others faith and show them how stupid it is to believe in particularly the catholic teachings.
God bless.

I’ve had to put a couple people on ignore so forgive me if I sound like i don’t know what’s going on but I don’t think the CC will give people answers to their investigations before the tests are completed.

I really don’t have any interest in knocking anyone person’s specific beliefs–I sure hope that is not what you are trying to do.
The topic I was addressing was how doctors and lab tests could show people how concrete, inanimate matter baked in a factory had turned into actual DNA human flesh. And, how the results could be given to the rest of the world in a clear, direct, factual manner.

I surely don’t think it’s Catholic teaching to believe any claim anyone tells you, right? Even as a Catholic, you’d want to discern what is true and what is not?
Your fellow Catholics and priest would caution the same.

I had a really good chuckle at your posts, too…so…thank you for that!

.
again your posts seem to address different things than I said. made little sense, trying to put words in my mouth only shows yourself up but:thumbsup: knock yourself out.

Faith as I said to you there is many here who see their prime purpose in life by the amount of time they spend here is knocking the faith of people like yourself. your right to ignore:thumbsup: you will get so much more out of catholic forums by doing so

In reading more about the Miracle of Lanciano, the scientists maintained that the blood contained no preservatives and after all these centuries, maintain the properties of fresh blood. Does this apply to the flesh as well? If the flesh was taken from a cadavermfor a hoax, without using any preservation methods, could it have remained in the state its currently in or would it definitely deteriorated?

seriously you should probably start proof reading. your post make less and less sense. why would i need to get someone else to show me what you posted here and why do you believe people should take your word but not other people’s. There again 🤷

I have to wonder why people who are against the faith want to post on a Catholic site? I don’t get that.

Is it so hard to grasp? Even if you’re against something you might want to learn more about it and talk to the people involved with it.

But that is an off topic discussion.

sure that’s a good reason to post on the site, I think what faith960 is saying and me is people who post to try and knock, being inquisitive even if they don’t ever believe is good.

one of the reasons put forth for not believing in a Eucharistic miracle is that there is no evidence that it was bread and wine to begin with.
on a daily basis other than good Friday and Easter saturday there is a mass going on at every minute of the day because of the different time zones and mass will probably go on any one country from 6-12 am on the half hour. of those daily mass I would doubt any of them take records to be able to prove that the bread and wine is bread and wine prior to mass in case a miracle occurs. if they did and one did occur that in itself would be enough to arouse suspicion. now some of these miracles happened hundreds of years ago asking now to prove that it was bread and wne to begin with well:shrug:

Some people just want to go onto forums, this and others and bash and or push their own agendas. I don’t get that.

In the Miracle of Lanciano, I’ve read a lot that says the blood would’ve decayed rapidly without their being a miracle, since no preservatives were found. Would the heart muscle, Flesh also have decayed without preservatives? I read that the part of the host that didn’t have the Flesh did decay and the Flesh remained all these years.

The diagram of this blood corresponds to that of human blood that would have been taken from a human body that very same day. The blood is real. It is made up of five-unequal clots, but each clot weighs exactly the weight of the five clots weighed together, be it 15.85 grams.

that’s pretty hard to fake

.I promised Faith I will give her the info from Linoli in Roma (that is, if he really exists and is still alive) if I can set up an interview.
Whatever info I get, I will send to her and post here.
You can contact Giovanni Linoli, a doctor at the same hospital from Arezzo where Odoardo Linoli has worked until his retirement. Giovanni Linoli (probably a relative of Odoardo) cowrote with O. Linoli this paper on paleohistology (the bibliography mentions other papers on the same topic by O. Linoli and others).

I have the person you’re talking to on ignore. She needn’t bother to send me anything

I’ve been reading a lot about the EM in Lanciano and am satisfied with the scientific investigations but wondered if anyone knows if the Church or other authorities investigated the monk to be certain he didn’t do a sleight (sp) of hand or hoax?

I am definitely fascinated by Eucharistic Miracles. The one that fascinates me the most is the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, Italy.

That said, I had a Eucharistic Miracle, so to speak, of my own once. I was in the mental health ward of the hospital and my pastor, Fr. Dave, brought me Holy Communion. When he held up the Eucharist and was praying the prayers I could literally see flesh and veins in the host. It was amazing. Now, granted, you could say that because I do experience hallucinations when I am having psychosis that this was just a hallucination. However, I told Fr. Dave about it right after I received Communion and he smiled at me and acted as though it was a real miracle. Regardless of whether it was a real miracle or not, it definitely strengthened my faith in the Real Presence. 🙂
