Eucharistic Prayer - Priest's Additions

This particular priest has been at my parish for just over a year now. During the Eucharistic Prayer, he adds names of people who are not saints (the part where they list our parish saint, our pope and bishop. His reasoning is that he knew these people personally and knows they will one day be canonized. (they aren’t even being researched at this time) He refers to them as “Servant of Christ …” Many have questioned this and he stops for a bit, but then I noticed it this past weekend. How concerned should I be? We’ve had about 50-75 change parishes over it.
 
I’m not one to go tattling to the Bishop on every little thing, but if people have brought this up with the priest, people are leaving the parish over it, and he’s not stopping, then it’s time to report this to the diocesan authority. This is not OK, unless maybe it was a beatified person who was permitted to be publicly venerated in that area. I’m presuming if he calls them “Servant of Christ” they aren’t beatified.

I would not be comfortable going to a Mass with suspect Eucharistic prayers.
 
The particular change doesn’t bother me as much as the fact that he changes anything. It’s not his liturgy to change. The liturgy belongs to the Church and ultimately to God. This instance of disobedience may indicate a larger problem.

That said, I have had to come to accept that priests often modify the liturgy. The Mass is valid. They often think their personal touches are improvements. There is no bad intention. I wouldn’t go out of my way to find a different parish.
 
So people are leaving the parish (thus harming the parish) and he doesn’t care? I’m willing to bet that this isn’t the only area where he “improves” the liturgy or parish life. What he is doing is really quite arrogant. I’m curious, is he an older priest or a younger one?
