I really want to go to a Eucharistic Procession, like you would see at a Eucharistic Congress. Has anyone ever been to one. How could I find one of these?

They are not so common anymore, at least, not at your typical parish. I believe that the Bishop of my diocese conducts a procession for the Feast of Corpus Christi. I’m trying to learn “Adore Te Devote” in the perhaps naive hope that, one day, I will participate in a procession and sing this old hymn.

Depending on where you live, please feel free to come to Toledo, the Polish Village to be specific, where on Corpus Christi, the twinned parishes I belong to have a four block long procession from one church to another. We stop at four stations along the way and proclaim a Gospel reading at each station. We sing traditional Polish hymns and at least two of the Gospels are read in Polish. It is quite amazing to see a couple hundred people walk down the street with the Eucharist in procession! I think this is a great way to give glory to Jesus Christ, by whom all of this is possible!

There is a Eucharistic Procession annually at the University of Notre Dame. It’s very well attended, and the campus ministry makes a pretty big deal of it. Check out the link below.
