I was given three topics for school which i need a paragraph response to each. I’ve responded to the first point but the other two I have no idea where to begin… Could someone please help me as I am very lost. Any help is good enough to me.

1. Early eugenics; how the Catholic Church was influenced (i.e. “impact”) to respond to the issue; and how Catholocism responded

In 1930, the Catholic Church was forced to respond to the Anglican Church, which declared that artificial contraception was permissible for Christian couples, by condemning any deliberate frustration of the fruitfulness of the marital act. Pope Pius made several arguments through his encyclical letter ‘Casti Connubii’. These arguments included his assertion that a married couple is entitled to make use of the rhythms of the wife’s menstrual cycle in maintaining the bond of marital intimacy and union. Pius condemns abortion for any reason. He also condemns any eugenic legislation or act that sterilises or forbids marriage to people deemed ‘defective’. These assertions directly contradict the teaching of the Anglican Church in 1930.

2. Nazi eugenics; how the Catholic Church was influenced to respond to the issue; and how Catholocism responded

3. Modern eugenics; how the Catholic Church is influenced to respond to the issue; and how Catholocism responds

Are you in highschool or college?

If you are in highschool the school should provide you materials to research this.

If you are in college, you may find good materials on sites like EBSCO

highschool… I was given materials that don’t really help that much

You might try going to the library and doing some research. I’m sure there are news databases that address the modern Church position, and books that address the position against the Nazis.
