Euhprates dries up--something about that in Revelation

Does anyone have any info. about the Euphrates drying up and a part of Revelation about the Euphrates drying up? Is it out of context or could it be the end of this 5th period of The Church I’ve heard about?

As far as tying this up to Revelation, we would need to have the oceans & all the rivers of the Earth overflowing with blood and all creatures of these waters dying out.

Rev 16:12 - “The sixth angel poured his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east.” (RSV). This is in preparation for the final battle at Meggido (otherwise known as Armageddon).
