The Irony in all of is this is that while Muslims in general are helpless to stop the inevitable death of their traditional way of life under pressure from modernization and western culture. So are the Europeans under the pressure of immigration and multi-culturalism.

I think Europe will become Moslem. However I think the official change will be due to a crisis eg. an oil embargo during other crises… Europe is short of fossil fuels, and so I expect conversion will be mainly for political purposes and not very sincere.

I had an old pastor who was rather prophetic. If he said something would happen, it usually did. The Islamisation of Europe was one of them. As a result the Vatican will probably have to move, and I suspect it would move either to Australia or, more likely, South America.

I think Russia and the Brits may hold out, the Russians becoming the bastion of the Eastern Church, with the Brits reverting to Catholicism.

Overall however we’re in for a hammering. We will be looking at a Communist China, Shinto Japan, Hindu India, “Christian” America, Orthodox Russia, Catholic Britain, “Christian” Australia, and Catholic Latin America versus Islamic Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa.

But this will all be complicated by the race for oil, the rising economies of China and India and their own rivalry, a regional arms race in South East Asia, the decline of the USA with the wildcard of its technical and military supremacy, along with global warming (which is real enough) and resource wars.

Throw in Iran, North Korea and Pakistan, and I think we’re in for serious trouble.
 
I think that China will sell off most of the US to Mexico and Venezuela, with Alaska being sold to Russia in exchange for oil and natural gas.

Europe’s thoroughly Europeanized Muslim minority, returning for their holidays to the countries of their ancestors to take lots of photographs of all the old buildings and buy things like models of the Taj Mahal (made in China), will demand improvements in plumbing and balti-pizza shops on every street corner. They will also spread the message of Serious Shopping as a central feature of Islam all over the Islamic world.

News came out in the Netherlands in August 2009 by Christian teacher Hennie Metsemakers who briefly worked at the Orthodox Islamic As Siddieq school in Amsterdam to “contribute to integration”. She recently stated in newspaper Het Parool that she was not allowed to be greeted with ‘Salam’ (peace) like the other teachers of the school educating about 900 pupils because “non-Muslims cannot know peace”. She also had to eat her meals separately."

Typical! Muslims are taught in the Quran that they “are the best of all creation”. :rolleyes:

Well that argument about having more children might seem logical at first, but there is not much behind it…
In Germany for example Muslims are a minority. Germans have an average of 1.3 children per couple and Muslims in Germany have an average of 2.1-2.3… A small minority that is stable in number cannot outgrow a majority (even though they are on the decline in numbers)…
The problem is more of this turning into a sub-culture and then turning into a movement with a voice that might drown out the majority…
With a good integration this does not happen… When I was in High School most of my best friends were Muslims… not the very religious type and apart from the fact that they wouldn’t eat at school during Ramadan you wouldn’t see much of a difference, but they were Muslims. There girls are independent, clever, knowledgeable girls who pursue their dreams. They go and visit they families in Morocco or Yugoslavia, but that’s not keeping them from being your average German teenager (and meanwhile woman).

There have been a couple of recent studies of Muslim girls in the UK which were quite enlightening - basically, their priorities included being good Muslims, certainly, but also getting a good education, starting their own businesses and doing a lot of shopping.

What a terrible threat that is to us all.

Muslims aren’t forced to move to the West, they do so by choice.

I agree, things haven’t seemed right lately. It’s been quiet…almost too quiet.
