:grouphug: WOW!

What can I say! Keep up the good work and may God bless you all!:clapping:
Tnx. But we need to Pray for those who Don’t Know God, and those who Need prayers Most, (Who happen to be the same People!)
So Lucky you brought up how South African Problem was resolved, impossibly well, By a Bishop! Same JP II the Great: caused Communism to disappear, freedom for Russia and satellites; And Mahatma Ghandi, National Freedoms for Countries, etc. Always Religious, Catholic Methods Solve impossible problems!.
👍 :bowdown2: We figured the Best solutions to impossible Problems out, Jeanne. God’s Way!

i was watching world over with raymond arroyo and rick santorum.
i think rick wrote a book about this or an article. when it happened, i remember hearing about it on the news or reading it online. i would like to know more about this brave man. he gave so much of his life.
Here are the Washington Post 2 Articles about this Simple GREAT Man. One of first blogs On the First, Front page Washington Post site (Comments) was simple ‘St Vander Woude, Pray for us!’ So Many agree. And he is where he can do the Most Good, for Many more People; The communion of saints.

Hi Sailka

I notice that you always sign off Vivat Jesus. Don’t you mean Viva - or is Vivat something different? Please explain
🙂

Vivat is Present tense “Lives”. Viva means future LIVE, etc. Are different tense words, and isn’t Viva Hispanic? Vivat Jesus Ancient Latin, Knights of Columbus Greeting. 😉
Tony

yes, viva is spanish as in viva zapata!!

i thought vivat was a form of latin.

Very close. Been said that all western languages except Hungarian/Finnish/Slavik, are VERY much descended from Latin. Spanish/English/German have very closely similar main words

Guten Abend/Good Evening 🤓 :ehh: :hmmm: 😉

I speak Portuguese and French. In French we say Vive. In Portuguese it is Viva!

Viva Jesus!

You must be well loved at your Parish and I am sure you are a great evangelist. If anyone can bring people to Jesus you can, I am sure.

Pray for European Catholicism:love:

Thank you. My sister and brother, Catholic educated USA, returned to Europe, France. They became secularized because of the ‘new culture’ there. Indeed Europe needs prayer!. There is much Talent everywhere that few people use to help others, unless Church connected. This website shows the great talents all over the world, connected by our Ideal profound Catholic culture, Faith. 😉

Shouldn’t we all work everywhere to promote respect for other cultures, faiths? Wouldn’t most Reasons for big problems be reduced? :ehh:

Help us, Lord. Help those who Need help the most. :byzsoc: :gopray2:

:amen: And the average Catholic Clergy (Nuns also) ‘work’ 6 days a week. And it is Not 9-5. Diocesan priests get one day off a week.
My Pastor of our now 10,000 Catholic Church works 8 AM to 10 PM daily, minimally. We were 3,000 January this year, but we opened our massive tradfitional Big Church Feb 2. One Third of the cost is vast number of Meeting rooms/Classrooms. We have over 60 organizations.
Code:

I think we must start praying every day NOW for World Youth Day in Madrid 2012 - that people will come from all over, especially people who have been spiritually barren so that they can be nourished - pray also for vocations to the priesthood and the religious life and also the laity - missionaries of the 21st century are the laity - like you Sailka!:gopray2: :byzsoc: :crossrc:

40 miles out new minimansions suburbs, Gainesville VA. 1200 seats, very traditional. over 50 organizations, thousand volunteers, working together as big family! 3 Priests and Parishioners have great empathy, Humor, working together. 80 in RCIA! Lord helps those who Love, respect Him. The Holy Spirit being Key.

Also have friends at small 300 member, Nativity Orthodox Church, Manassas VA, which also is Spirit filled. Same reasons, great attitude Pastor, rich traditional culture Parishioners. It began 15 years ago in a storage room at a carwash!.
Vivat Jesus. Tony
Takes two to tango, as was said.

Amen praying for Youth. Spain is great site to iinfluence Europe, as Cologne was. Youth are in love with the Papacy, as WYD’s show, because the Church, Holy Father are only source of Idealism, Great ideas in the world.

Many vocations result from WYD, as well as just finding the Beauty, Culture, Spiritual Richness of the Catholic Church.

And, as Cardinal Arinze and Popes JP II the Great and Benedict say, Each of us are apostles, not watchers. Living our Faith Publically best way.

this evening i happened to be watching a show called andalusia - the legacy of the moors. during the arab conquest of spain, it was known as the golden age. they built a beautiful mosque in cordoba. they excelled in astronomy and mathematics. spain has a rich history of the arabs, jews and christians living amongst one another in southern spain until the crusades began and catholic spain regained control of all of spain once again, then the arabs and jews both were expelled from spain i believe. so it is fitting that the next world youth day will be in spain. there is a controversy right now because the muslims want permission to pray in the mosque once again (which was converted to a cathedral when spain became catholic again) and so far they have not been given permission. i believe that many muslims have begun migrating to spain as they have other parts of europe.
i am not sure what happened to the arabic culture that made it stop flourishing like it did during its golden age. spain at one time was a heavily populated catholic country, but in this modern age,
i am not sure what the state of catholicism is in spain. perhaps if someone from spain knows, they can tell us.

I believe that the Catholic Church is fossilized in Spain as in other European Countries. We need to PRAY!:gopray2: :byzsoc: :signofcross:

hopefully, world youth day will help revitalize catholicism in spain.

:crying: The Big Problem in Europe and also USA is Secularism and Anti any Faith Globalization pushed by biggest richest few companies and people. Noticed that are Many more poor people and even middle class are worth relativelly less, with the Very Richest, Biggest corporations, like in USA Oil, Pharmaceuticals even Receiving or paying far less Taxes?
Google Globalization. Even China is worried. The Foci of Globalization are cheapest labor (USA Jobs tranferred to other countries, cheap labor being flooded Into USA), Against Traditions, Morality, especially against the Catholic Church and others, even ethnicity.
Wonder why Catholicism, Religion are not reported positivelly? Media lives on Advertising, its Advertisers. Big Money against idealism, Morality of Catholic Church.
We need to e-mail, Write, Fax Big Money interests saying we are Avoiding Anti-Catholic, anti Religion policies. Walmart restored the word Christmas in its advertising last year, Because the Public Complained. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
👍 Want to be controlled by sick forces? Or State your Opposition with hopefully Many others for Moral/Christian side to be treated Positivelly. WE are the Big Consumer Money that can control all the False misreprersentations, satanic agenda Of few members Big Money ‘Rulers’ of economy.
😛 😃 As Mother Angelica said so Well years ago, we can not just pray for something, we need to Work at getting Justice Done!
Vivat Jesus. :yup: Tony

yes, in america, our youth is heavily influenced by hollywood and the music industry.

in hollywood, they give the impression that you are not cool if you are religious or republican for that matter.

in europe, i am not sure what led to their culture becoming so secular and religion declining.
