I was talking with a friend at work about how babies aren’t just killed in the womb. I told him how some are killed after they are born, because they are disabled. My friend didn’t believe that could happen in the U.S, but I said it did. I thought I had heard it on the EWTN radio, but now I’m not sure. My friend wants me to give him an article on it. Does anyone know where there is an article about this?

On Friday, Dec 8, I will be praying at my Church before the Blessed Sacrament for an end to Abortion in honor of the feast of the Immaculate Conception. I have done this for several years and there is only a handful of people who come. Does anyone else do this; how is the turn out at your Church?

God Bless,
Tracy

I don’t have much time to do an incdepth search, but I’m sure that with a little time, you could come up with many articles about born-alive babies being “allowed to die” after a failed abortion. I’ve read articles by nurses who’ve seen some terrible things in delivery rooms. I remember one about a nurse who held and rocked a newborn until he died after she had been told to leave him in a closet. Here’s one recent article.

And did you see that in England and the Netherlands last week doctors are asking for a law allowing them to let babies die? This lets us know that it’s already going on.

In my city all the parishes have all day and all night adoration on the feast of the Immaculate Conception. As far as I’ve seen there are always at least a few people at the Church. I was at the Church from 4 to 5 a.m. and there were three men there besides myself.

It’s so good to see adoration making a big comeback.

Thank you teakafrog and ruthmary.

Those articles where very helpful.

Merry Christmas.

Priests for Life is a good website where you will find a multitude of personal testimonies by former abortionists and abortion assistants. I was reading some only this week which described allowing infants who survived saline abortions to die alone and exposed on a cold counter top until they died of neglect. Maybe it was either Dr. Anthony Levantio or Dr. McArthur Hill.

What about the case in Florida of the baby born alive who was gathered into a bio hazard plastic bag and thrown unto the roof when the police came to search the clinic after a distress call was made? Operation Rescue reported that incident recently and it was posted in this forum. The child was discovered severely decomposed a week later when the police returned a second time.

It is all part of the culture of death mentality. Peter Singer seems to have no problem with the logic of killing disabled children soon after birth. His philosophy has been discussed repeatedly in this forum too.

You can google search Wesley J. Smith at Discovery Institute. He is well-known for reporting this trend.

Or try this website if you feel strong enough.
What Boston abortionist aborted a living and viable baby boy, deliberately smothered him, was convicted of manslaughter but released on a technicality,
and was later rewarded by being given the post of Chairman of the Board of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA)?

Thank you, traceydaisy for caring enough to ask.

Where I live there are holy hours offered monthly just for pro-life intentions. Different churches host them, and I believe they include Mass as well. I haven’t been able to attend one, but I would like to.
