Only God can say such a thing. The rest of us are sinners and liars. No faithful Catholic would say something like that as it would be a sin of presumption- a blashemy. Satan says it all the time too.

yeah but Alfie’s sin might be mitigated by her (steadily decreasing) ignorance and the fact that I’m pretty sure the lady was just kidding, and not really serious.

Besides she’s got about a dozen Catholics really prayin’ for her. Especially me!

The Catholic Church did what they could to protect the Jews, but they couldn’t save all of them. Remember that the Vatican is located in Rome, which was the capital of Fascist Italy, an ally of Nazi Germany.

There was also the fact that the Nazis had a military and the Vatican didn’t, so it’s not like they could engage Germany in a military battle to save the Jews.

They only save those so called Jews catholic and kill those that are not!!!
