I know a person who self-identifies, after surgical operations, as being a woman despite having been born of the male sex.

If I refer to this friend as “she”, I am giving credence to the sinful notion that one can alter their sex, which is erroneous both morally and biologically.

If I refer to this friend as “he”, I may come off as being antagonistic and uncharitable, which may make evangelizing to this person significantly more difficult.

Thoughts? 🙂

(Note: I put this thread in the Social Justice forum since I was dwelling upon the moral aspect of this, though in retrospect it may be better fitted for the Evangelization forum, if a moderator thinks it appropriately placed there.)

She is a He. That is undisputable fact. He IS a man.
There are no true transsexuals.

Refer to him by his name, avoid the use of male or female pronouns.

Don’t do to them what you wouldn’t want done to you if you were in their position.
