(Disclaimer: Everything mentioned in this post is hypothetical and doesn’t depict present events).
Event: Spend a day with Christ!
Are you thirsty for God’s living word? Do you desire to be with the Son of God? Well now’s your chance! Today the Kingdom of Heaven is hosting a limited-time “Day with Jesus” event where you can spend an entire day with the Son of God! As part of this campaign, the Kingdom has requested that you tell us a little about how you’d plan to spend your day with your loving creator!

Q: How would you spend your day with Christ?

Jesus seemed to enjoy hanging out in natural settings with his disciples, so I reckon we would go get some snacks at the organic food store, then go hang out in a park. I’d also love to go sailing with Jesus as he seemed to enjoy doing that too, but unlike Peter, James and John I don’t have a boat. Maybe Jesus has one or could borrow one.

In the afternoon, it would be really cool if we could go to an amusement park and ride some rides together. I bet Jesus would really enjoy the merry-go-round, ferris wheel and roller coaster. Then we could get ice cream and funnel cakes.

In the evening, we’d have dinner out at a really good pizza place (assuming Jesus likes pizza, but I can’t imagine why he wouldn’t) and then find a pleasant patio or urban rooftop to share a couple bottles of wine, perhaps provided by Jesus.

Either no one else wants to enter the “Spend a Day with Jesus” contest, or else I must have committed some faux pas and should have just suggested He and I spend the whole day at church. I thought he might want to get out of his “office” for a while.
 
Go to Retiro Park in Madrid and have a deep conversation with Him. I’d beg Him to fill me with the Holy Spirit, and every human on Earth too. I’d tell Him I need Him now, I can’t do this on my own.
 
I’d probably stand there awkwardly and speak like an idiot for at least the first hour. I’d love to speak with Him and pepper Him with questions, but I’d like to think I’d go on a limb and leave the days events entirely to Him. I’d probably also try to make Him laugh with my terrible (well, maybe not entirety bad) jokes.
 
I’d likely wait till Halloween to do something so Jesus and I could go to one of those Haunted Houses that are always on T.V. Would love to see his reaction.
 
I don’t know what I would do with a whole day besides worship him … but I know I would spend the first few hours apologizing for all the wrong I’ve done in my life … come to think of it, that might take the entire day … come to think of it I would have to apologize for wasting His time with all my apologies.
 
I’d talk to Him about how to improve my life and request help with my severe acne and tips for how to land a date to the dance. (I’m 0-3)

It would have been better if you got ice cream and funnel cakes and then got on the merry-go-round.
 
Well, admittedly, I would want to keep him all to myself. So probably a long, exerting hike up a mountain or into a forest where we could set camp and then spend a long amount of time in conversation in the evening by the campfire with a meal. He could say whatever he wanted to say. Then we set up our bedrolls and go to sleep. We’d go to sleep fairly early so that we can rise before dawn, pack up, and say prayers together as the sun rises and just before my 24 hours are up and he goes away.
