I wrote him a few years ago. The apostolic nunciature sent me back a little picture of him.

I sent a little card and note to Pope Emeritus Benedict on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood this past month. Have not written to our current pope, however.

I had the opportunity to send birthday greetings to our then Pope John Paul II.
