Our Heavenly Father answers them in the most loving and gentle ways.
I asked for conversion for our MIA son. your prayers are being answered. he’s been coming to visit. he asked for us to pray (!!!) for him to get a job. he just got a job here in our hometown. CAF prayer warriors, this is a young man who, for 17 months was MIA. lost. no one could find him! please pray as God is not done with him yet. he needs to get entirely clean of drugs and alcohol. please pray for his emotional healing, healing of memories and profound conversion.
I asked for prayers to get the DRE job. i got the job and love it. i love the children, i love the catechists. my coworkers at the parish are gems, every one of them.
i asked for prayers this winter for my daughters’ excessive coughing and many sleepless nights. they all recovered beautifully. we have recouped our lost sleep.
you prayed for another son’s contrition and coversion regarding some sinful activity. that, dear prayer warriors, was another grace obtained by prayer-- your prayers.
once even i lost expensive tickets to the theater (a gift that was given to us). you interceded for us and the ticket office reissued new ones without any difficulty at all.
so i turn to you again for powerful intercessory prayer.
i love my job. i have been offered another job as DRE at my own home parish. i don’t want to choose between them. perhaps both of these (strapped for cash) parishes can pool resources and pay for my benefits? then i can take both jobs. then my hiusband, who has worked for **22 years on a weekly swing shift **can quit his job and stay home with the children. the poor man has been in a very dangerous, exceedingly LOUD factory working days/ afternoon/ midnights-- for twenty two years!!!
if i worked part time at both parishes he could stay home with the children-- but only if i got benefits. despite the treachery of his job situation for the last 2 decades, my husband is a very involved and exceedingly loving father. he would be thrilled to be home with his children.
what a crazy prayer. still, i’m asking you to intercede for us. and i thank you for your committment to all the needy persons on CAF who covet your prayers. you are all so generous, loving and kind. thank you. many times, thank you.
May the POWER and PEACE of the RESURRECTION be God’s gift to YOU TODAY!!!
