Here’s a great essay on Euhemerus, who first popularly forwarded the concept that the ancients like Noah & Family were subsequently deified. One caveat is that the history of religion is first and universally monotheistic, and as Christian Egyptologist Kenneth Kitchen notes, in wildly diverse cultures it is as if they were reading right out of Genesis. This accounts, for example, for the otherwise impossible universality of marriage, and a standard of modesty, with Kitchen referencing a wider array of laws, standards and customs. And of course the Noah legend is universal, however corrupted.

Most mythologists, like the ghastly Joseph Campbell or Jungian spiritists, are diverting us by refusing to notice there was/is a rebellion against monotheism with the reactionary rebels adopting the same names and constructs of the elect but giving them an evil twist. Consequently, they falsely dump everything in together. So the office of EN, “woman of grace” and role of her children became turned around by the Satanistas from the Woman & Seed of Genesis 3:15 fame into the temple prostitute, with her children being slaughtered.

This EN-ship is elucidated in the book, Sarah the Priestess by Jewish scholar Savina Teubal. Teubal apologized for the title including “priestess” as her publisher insisted this would spice up the book for more pop culture appeal, but the office she explores is “EN” literally “grace” as in “Full of Grace” as fulfilled in the Virgin Mary. Teubal, as a Jewish believer, was of course aghast at my suggesting that the Archangel Gabriel’s titular address to the Virgin Mary as “Full of Grace” was the continuation of this ancient Genesis 3:15-based office of EN-ship. (All per '90’s-era telephone call to her Arizona digs.) G-d rest her soul.

There are lots of comparisons of ancient Middle Eastern king lists and “gods” with the 10 patriarchs of Genesis, Noah being the tenth–one died young, one was assumed into Heaven. So throwing out Genesis still leaves the Satanistas in a quandary. Jungian spiritists help Lucifer there as do Kabbalists and other gnostics, ignoring links, reversing good with bad, metaphorizing away meaning, freely adding rabbit trails. Outright censorship came into play with Albert Einstein’s friend, Immanuel Velikovsky’s various books being quashed by academics who forced the publisher to cease and desist or they would boycott buying their textbooks. “Amerika, Amerika…God shed His grace on thee.” Velikovsky incurred the wrath of freedom-hating academics by correlating all ancient texts, including a reference to a manna-like substance reported by Peruvians.

The same academic bullying is seen with the father of Paleontology, France’s Georges Cuvier, being marginalized because he was a catastrophist (like Velikovsky) because the evolutionists needed gradualism, a perfect Earth lab setting for the Petri dish to work its magic over untold aeons. The evolutionist history of fraud and bullying has extended to tinkering with Neandertal skulls, grinding teeth and jaws, with jaws displaced backwards out of joint, to make them appear more primitive looking. This was disclosed by Christian forensic orthodontist Jack Cuozzo’s radiograph research documented in his book, Buried Alive.

Ditto amateur collector Ed Conrad who has had all the finest scientific testing done on his human remains found in coal strata, with experts back-pedalling, falling silent or attacking their own results when they find out where he got his specimens because Conrad’s findings indicate rapid interment leading to anomalous preservation (like bog men) and support catastrophism. edconrad.com/

In short, people started out monotheist, got crazy into honoring ancestors after the Great Deluge as people traced their lineage from Noah and posted it on their totem poles, with this orthodoxy being corrupted over time into ancestor worship. But outright rebellion against monotheism was and is spread by Satanistas warring against God, including His Woman & Seed system. WWSD? What Would Satan Do? The Father of Lies and Murder would lie and murder, and especially Target women and children. Narcissistic moderns nurture the “women and children last” culture, including New Agers like Barbara Marx Hubbard whose book Revelation shows her eagerly awaiting genocidal de-population to promote “evolution” so she logically colludes with abortion “death-scorts” and the like. God save and bless America.

John Henry Cardinal Newman answered a critic one time that claimed that Christianity has barrowed from other cultures and religions. But Newman points out that even though it is evident that many ancient cultures and religions have similar and many same teachings on specific things, such as angels, son of god, sacraments, etc etc, but it does not mean that Christians took from other sources, but that those are actually originally from God. Newman pointed out that in times past God has planted seeds of truth in many different ways and times and places, and some of those seeds took root in various and incomplete ways. But Christianity is the one place where God’s revelations have been completely guided by the Holy Spirit.

Exactly!

Because when people start using Ed Conrad as a source …

Why am I even typing this sentence:confused:

Don’t shoot the messenger. Ed Conrad found bones in coal strata, has over the years had them examined by professionals, had them lab tested, including a recent round underwritten by a generous angel, cited a century-old newspaper article about another such find, and is merely one voice among many presenting anomalous bones in stratum that don’t fit in with the tidy timeline we bought at great expense in college.

Ed Conrad’s specimens are available for examination, have been exhibited in Europe, and were recently shipped to Taiwan for more testing, passing with flying colors. Compare this with Neandertal bones that forensic orthodontist Jack Cuozzo only got access to when he guilt-tripped the French curator by talking about saving their country during World War II. This is the Forbidden History website that mentions more bones where they should not be according to academics who want to throw out the data instead of the theory of evolution.

The same people who don’t like Ed Conrad wouldn’t have liked all those presumably under-educated, ill-washed shepherds that God chose for His prophets instead of the intellectual elite. If you want access to Conrad’s specimens, just ask. Or go find some. There are loads of 'em. Take a walk around Mahanoy, PA. I’ll go with you.

Not necessarily: they were announcing the truth, not a load of bunkum.

Here’s that quote I was referring to…

Now, the phenomenon, admitted on all hands, is this:—that great portion of what is generally received as Christian truth, is in its rudiments or in its separate parts to be found in heathen philosophies and religions. For instance, the doctrine of a Trinity is found both in the East and in the West; so is the ceremony of washing; so is the rite of sacrifice. The doctrine of the Divine Word is Platonic; the doctrine of the Incarnation is Indian; of a divine kingdom is Judaic; of Angels and demons is Magian; the connection of sin with the body is Gnostic; celibacy is known to Bonze and Talapoin; a sacerdotal order is Egyptian; the idea of a new birth is Chinese and Eleusinian; belief in sacramental virtue is Pythagorean; and honours to the dead are a polytheism. Such is the general nature of the fact before us; Mr. Milman argues from it,—“These things are in heathenism, therefore they are not Christian:” we, on the contrary, prefer to say, “these things are in Christianity, therefore they are not heathen.” That is, we prefer to say, and we think that Scripture bears us out in saying, that from the beginning the Moral Governor of the world has scattered the seeds of truth far and wide over its extent; that these have variously taken root, and grown up as in the wilderness, wild plants indeed but living; and hence that, as the inferior animals have tokens of an immaterial principle in them, yet have not souls, so the philosophies and religions of men have their life in certain true ideas, though they are not directly divine. [Milman’s View on Christianity 9]
