Tough not to be jealous of your older, infinitely more successful brother.
 
Phillies, baby!!! The guys are angry over last year’s horrendous performance in the playoffs so I can really see them going all the way this year. Watch out Yankees!:extrahappy:
 
Well it looks like I will be getting ready to watch another disappointing season. :mad:
 
So after 6 games, the Red Sox and Yankees are a combined 0-6 :rotfl: (I know, I know it’s early, but hard to resist 😉 )
 
OH YEAH! Hubbs and I are Braves and Reds fans, and any team that is playing the Yinkees. Between hockey and baseball, I have the whole year covered. 👍
 
My childhood favorite team: Gooooooo Braves!! :D, …and my adopted other favorite team Goooooo Red Sox! 🙂

I think the Gardenhire era is about due to end. They are doing way too much restructuring and the two guys (Mauer and Morneau) that they really paid out for aren’t producing the way they should.

The offense can’t hit, the defense racks up errors like Windows Vista, and the pitching staff can’t seem to stay healthy.

Did Morneau ever fully recover from that concussion a couple of years ago?
 
I love baseball - especially my Cardinals! So far, they are off to a great start with our new manager and Pujol-less.

I jokingly say that my worse World Series nightmare would be a Cubs-Yankees. I know I couldn’t watch! 😃

I’m pretty sure there’s an article in the Catechism condeming use of the DH. I just haven’t found it yet.

I don’t think so. They are starting him at DH this year so he doesn’t get too rattled around, but he has never played quite the same since the concussion.
 
Well the Giants finally got a win. I am pretty excited about this year. Even though they are 1-3 the hitting is vastly improved from last year and the pitching is too good to be down for long.

Who could have predicted that Linecum, Baumgardner and Cain would all have loses to start the season with ERA’s around 8 while Zito would have a complete came shut out to start the season?
