Please, please pray for me.

My husband and I are now on our 8th month of trying to conceive, and my obgyn (Catholic, yay!) has started testing me for infertility issues. This is not helping all the other problems.

The anniversary of my PTSD-causing trauma is approaching and I am starting to feel awful. Near constant panic, nightmares, deep depression. I’ve started seeing a Catholic Charities therapist, but she’s reluctant to put me on medication since we’re TTC. I’m going to ask her about it again tomorrow because I cannot keep living like this. I managed last year, but with all the added stress this time around, I really can’t handle feeling like this for the next two months.

Constant fear that past mistakes, which I’ve fully repented of and turned away from, are going to catch up to me and ruin my life even more.

I work part time at my parish’s small school, and they’re currently planning to build an addition they can’t quite afford, even though they do desperately need it. Maybe it’s the paranoia from the above, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to be laid off. I’m the last person hired and the least important. It might be a coincidence, since my schedule is usually pretty erratic, but I feel like my boss is starting to cut my hours. I don’t earn a lot and my husband is up for promotion anyway, but I really love my job and I would feel so uncomfortable at church.

Struggling deeply with my faith. I just feel like my whole life is a train-wreck and I can feel everything collapsing around me.

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, especially AClaire.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on her behalf. Please fill AClaire with hope, and grant her the relief and cure she so desires.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

That’s a shame. 😦

Would you consider putting yourself as a priority right now, even if it is only temporarily? Your health, including mental and emotional, to me, are the most important here.

If “everything is going wrong”, it might not be the time to try to have a baby. Would you consider delaying, even if it´s just till after this “anniversary” has passed and things have become stable, again?

Well, with certain things, timing is everything. This might be one of them. May God guide your steps. God bless you! 👍

:highprayer: Heavenly Father, we pray for AClaire11; help her and her husband conceive - like you did with Abraham and Sarah and with Elizabeth and Zechariah; take away the anxiety and stress; pour comfort and joy into their hearts and lives; provide for the finances for this couple and surround them with your Grace, your Mercy and your Peace!!!

I’m praying for you…

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

Praying that you will find peace from anxiety and worry and will trust that God has a plan. It sounds like you are feeling very overwhelmed right now.
I can empathize with you as I have felt that way before.
Don’t let your thoughts run away and get ahead of you.
I have started walking 30-40 minutes a day which is helping me relax.
God bless.

Great St. Gerard Majella, we ask you to pray for AClaire11, so that she may experience the joys of motherhood.

St. ELizabeth, pray for her.

St. Anne, pray for her.

Praying. I agree with other poster - may not be best time to ttc. Stress is going to complicate what sounds to be already complicated.

God bless

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon AClaire11 in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-
comings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (AClaire11 and her husband), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to her assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
