True or false, evil entered the world through a person’s action?
 
True.

Evil entered the world through Satan, who is a person, though not a human. Satan chose to rebel, therefore it was an action.
 
Since you say “this world” I guess the answer would be: through Adam and Eve. Otherwise, Satan. Either way, a person.
 
I hope I’m wrong, but I feel like this is meant to be a trick question…

Yeah, i didn’t think of Satan as a person, so i said false. Come to think of it, though, when Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden into the world, wasn’t it already a mess? And the garden was like some intermediate place that wasn’t heaven (because nothing bad could happen there) but not earth because it was perfect and happy? I’ve never thought of it before, but now that i do, how does that work? Was the Garden really Earth and it just went awry when our first parents chose against God, or did they literally get “cast out” of some place and exiled to Earth? :confused:

Evil did not exist until Satan decided to opose God. Evil did not exist in the world until Satan tempted Eve.
