Yes, nice image. I understand now.

But the existence of Adam is a branch on the bush. Trim it off and there goes the adjoining twigs: original sin, the fall, etc.
It cannot happen as Revealed truth will always stand. The bush can only grow fuller.

Buffalo, I just read The Doctrines of Genesis 1-11 by Rev Victor Warkulwiz. Great book, eh? Although I would have liked to see him spend more words on the various fossil hominids. He only mentioned australopithecus (which he considers an ape), erectus, habilis, and neanderthalis.

I thought it to be excellent. It covers much material and one cannot not know what the constant teaching of the Church is.

"cassini:
Fr Guy Consolmagno SJ, Vatican Observatory, revising the Galileo case once again for all gullible Catholics today, said recently: ‘or, to put it in another way, religion tells us that God made the universe, science tells us how He did it.’
Guy Consolmagno is a fine person, a sound astronomer, and a prayerful Catholic. I hope to saee him next week in Rome.

I watched an interview with this guy on the telivision just last week. He was being interviewed by a Religion vs Science program, and his simple few words where some of the clearest best spoken on both sides of the debate.

If you get the chance to speak to him please tell him thank you for his intresting words which where certainly food for thought for my self and i hope for many religious believes as well.

Dear StAnastasia,

Please, what is the exact name of the conference you are attending in Rome?

Where can I follow it?

Thank you and God bless,

granny
