What do you think is the truth?
No evolution? What about mutations in human cells? Or aren’t they large enough to effect humans?

God Evolution? (God directs evolution) If this is true, then were humans created human or did they evolve from apes? At what exact point did the soul come into place (father doesn’t have one but sone does)?

I’m puzzled.
So much evidence for evolution. If I believe in God evolution, I come to conclude that everything else evolves except humans.

Please someone explain this to me!

please cite the evidence, including the fossil record that documents the moment when one species evolves into another. I have no problem whatever with teaching evolution as a theory, but there is no proof for it, which is why it is a theory.

Humans mutate and evolve like any other living organism. Haemophilia is a deleterious mutation, Sickle-cell anaemia is beneficial in malarial areas but deleterious otherwise and Apo A-I Milano is probably beneficial everywhere, certainly in areas with a Western high-chloresterol diet.

The average human has about 100 mutations - DNA that does not come from either parent. This is due to copying mistakes in DNA as the embryo develops. The great majority of these mutations are neutral. The majority of the remainder are deleterious with only a few being beneficial. Beneficial or deleterious can depend on the environment as with sickle-cell anaemia.

The more usual name for this is theistic evolution.

The evidence shows that the physical part of humans did and does evolve. Science can say nothing of souls, and there is no scientific evidence for the evolution of souls - they do not have DNA and do not fossilize.

Please indicate how you determine when one species is different to another. Lions and tigers can interbreed (ligers and tigons). Horses and donkeys can interbreed. Have you looked at ring species?

This is not a simple question, since species are a human imposed categorisation.

puzzle << I have no problem whatever with teaching evolution as a theory, but there is no proof for it, which is why it is a theory. >>

There is no proof for anything in science since proof is only in math, logic, and alcohol. A scientific theory is “a model or framework for understanding…an established paradigm that explains all or many of the data we have and offers valid predictions that can be tested.” In that sense, evolution (common descent by natural selection) is a theory.

“It is the aim of science to establish general rules which determine the reciprocal connection of objects and events in time and space. For these rules, or laws of nature, absolutely general validity is required – not proven.” – Albert Einstein (1941)

“…we have no proofs in science (excepting, of course, pure mathematics and logic). In the empirical sciences, which alone can furnish us with information about the world we live in, proofs do not occur, if we mean by ‘proof’ an argument which establishes once and for ever the truth of a theory.” – Sir Karl Popper (1953)
