Most of us here have heard of a great tv station called ewtn. Last year I saw on YouTube some videos for catholic tv. If I’m not mistaken, forgive me ahead of time, but I think Michael voris comes on that station.

My question is, how many of you have seen Catholic Tv. I went to their website and I see that their trying to get onto most cable and satellite providers.

Those of you that have seen it, if they make the jumps to all cable and satellite providers do you see that good for us Catholics? Or can they go head to head with Ewtn for viewers?

I prefer Catholic TV. I has less of a “political leaning” than EWTN.

It’s just straight devotional programming, human interest , and some quirky programming on top. It comes out of the Archdiocese of Boston.

I think it’s important to clear up that there’s a big difference between CatholicTV.com and RealCatholic.tv, which was Michael Voris’s shows but is now known as ChurchMilitant.tv.

I really enjoy EWTN, although I prefer the radio to the TV. My favorite programs are Mother Angelica and when they broadcast Fr. Barron’s Catholicism series, but there are a few other shows I enjoy as well.

CatholicTV.com is something I haven’t had a chance to watch much of yet. They do seem to have better kids’ programs than EWTN, but that’s all I’ve been able to pick up about them as of yet.

I have never heard of Catholic TV.

I used to get EWTN when I lived with my parents as they had DirectTV. I liked it very much. However, I don’t get it in my apartment with my cable system.

Catholic TV has a pretty skimpy budget compared to EWTN.

I like it though. It is especially entertaining for New Englanders because they do show some of the Boston flavor especially the hosts.
