EWTN LIVE: Book of Revelation with Naji Mouawad

He is my bible study teacher, i can’t wait to see it!😃
 
I watched the show and it was great. Is it possible to get Naji Mouawad’s Bible Studies online or to order CDs or DVDs on the Book of Revelation. It was all too brief and left me wanting to know so much more.

I watched the show based on this thread, and I thought it was very interesting.

I saw Fr. Mitch listening so intently. I don’t know Naji or his credentials, but he sounded very learned to me. I was relieved that Fr. Mitch could agree with him so much, although he didn’t explicitly comment on everything that Naji said.

Naji was very tactful with handling the young boy’s question, and yet answered the question very authoritatively.

EWTN is so strapped for money (I guess) that I don’t see all the programs that I’d like to see. I think they should have a Bible reading program, for example, just reading the Bible, with perhaps some artistic renditions of Bible scenes, when appropriate.

There’s so much room for talent on that network. M. Angelica liked “cute” things like statues and singing kids. But, there’s plenty of room for evangelization and apologetics, I think, or should be.

I get a lot of my apologetics from Catholic radio specially with Catholic answer
and open line. Three hours a day is plenty plus Catholic answer has lots of
documents in their site online.

EWTN was instrumental in getting me back into the church. My favs are Journey Home, EWTN Live with Fr. Mitch Packwa, Anything with Dr. Scott Hahn, Catholicism on Campus,
and Life on the Rock. Round Table, Father Mitches 10:00 wednesdy when he read and explains the JPII encyclicles.

I saw the Revelations, and Naji Mouawad was excellent. I’d love to hear him and Scott Hahn discuss Revelations. They have some of excellent insights into some previously tough subjects.

PattiDay, you are right same here. I hope someone in the San Diego area will put Naji’s
free bible study online. Naji will get a wider audience and teach a lot of Catholics like
myself.
 
I have gotten all the CDs available in Qorbono.com.

This is the most comprehensive study I have ever listened to. Naji is very well read and does extensive research. (He mentioned once that his son helps him research.) He cites the CCC, encyclicals, conciliar documents, books on spirituality-- new and classic, lives of saints, the Church Fathers, rabinnic literature, etc. Also, compared to other speakers who have to compress their study into a few hours, Naji takes advantage of the weekly hour-or-so he has to present the fullest picture of the book he is covering.

The Catholic Foundation Library is definitely a must. I am done with Revelations, Genesis, Exodus, and Numbers. It took me 13 months to go through all of them (180+ CDs) on my daily commute to and from work. I just got the Leviticus and Deuteronomy CDs (29 CDs) yesterday.

I am looking to have the audio transcribed so I can search through them-- they are that good.
