Just curious to know how many people watch EWTN Nightly News on a regular basis? I know I’m biased, but I am increasingly impressed with the work they do. They are factual and commit to more coverage of world events then almost any of the cable and network news. They cover the whole world on what I imagine is a much smaller budget then anyone else in the business.

👋 I’m a viewer! I miss Colleen Carroll Campbell, but I understand her maternity leave will become permanent. So sorry to lose her! She did a fabulous job reporting when the Cardinals were in conclave to elect the new Pope. Brian Patrick is an excellent choice for her replacement!

Watch it when I can; the issues and topics they cover are usually very interesting.

No bias, but almost all the Catholic media I watch (mostly for movie reviews and interviews) is way more open minded than some major ones like CNN, FOX, MSNBC.

They ask different questions that give you better insight and not the same answers and same questions that the other ones tend to share a lot.

I watch it most mornings while drinking my coffee before the children get up. I stream the previous nights news with a Roku box using the EWTN youtube channel. In our house it has replaced the CBS morning show that I used to watch. I prefer this much better - it is more uplifting, more informative about the topics I am interested in, and the CBS show was having way to many useless entertainment segments. I am grateful for EWTN News Nightly. I pray they have enough funding to keep it going. I donated what I could.

Pax Christi!

It looks good; has it been on long?

God bless.
It started last summer, on a very limited basis. They have recently ramped up to five nights a week. I hope they continue to expand their coverage and budget because it really is the best news source, in my opinion.

I don’t watch it. I turn to EWTN for solace and to escape secular news and the dirty, dishonest world of politics.

The secular news coverage Raymond Arroyo provides once a week is enough for me.

I really enjoy Raymond Arroyo’s show, too. His guests are very interesting.

I never watch the news. I read it in papers and listen on the radio!

I watch when I can and echo some of the comments above as to how broad and “no frills” the coverage is. You learn a lot and, naturally, there is always good coverage of the Vatican and the bishops conferences around the globe. Colleen was great, but the show must go on and it will!!! I also enjoy The World Over with Raymond Arroyo and likewise concur he has some smashing guests from time to time–and the interviews are far more extensive than many other shows. 👍
