It says that they did not allow the pilgrims to have Mass celebrated in the basilica?Excellent video. Glad to see it on CAF.![]()
As the SSPX does not have canonical status it is to be expected that they were not permitted to have Mass said there. It says that they did not allow the pilgrims to have Mass celebrated in the basilica?
Lovely video, wonderful children, nuns:thumbsup: Thank you.
I could be wrong, but maybe it’s a stressful thing for the priest to talk about the suspension issue. My impression is that most SSPX priests don’t want to be in an irregular status, or to be considered suspended. They love the Church and Rome, and it could be a painful subject, or topic, for some of them.I recently had the opportunity to ask an SSPX priest about the fact that they are suspended. He dropped his head slightly, gritted his teeth and then said, and I quote, “well it’s a matter of faith” unquote.
What does that mean? Can anyone here explain it to me. I did not have the opportunity to explore this statement further with him as he sortof just shrugged me off and started talking to another parishioner.
Well said. The nuns are cheerful and happy, despite having all of the girls to look after and keep track of, which would really stress me out if I were in their place.Lovely video, wonderful children, nuns:thumbsup: Thank you.
I think that’s kinda like going up to someone and saying “I hear you are divorced”. If you are really interested in that priest’s comments, it would be best to talk to him in private away from the crowd. It is a very personal discussion that he probably would be prepared to have, but perhaps not casually in a crowd in front of church after Mass.I recently had the opportunity to ask an SSPX priest about the fact that they are suspended.
