Ex-girlfriend pregnant, what should I do?

I broke with my girlfriend about a month ago, she is not a catholic, not a believer and certainly not the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with. Unfortunately I am a very sexual person, and while going out with her we were having sex regularily.

She now tells me she is pregnant, she is already a single mother. As a catholic, which are my duties, if I know I cannot and will not marry her? What should I do?

If you are the father of the child, and it sounds like you probably are, you are responsible for being a father to him or her. This means financial, spiritual and emotional support. That innocent child is in our prayers as are you.
