Don’t forget your local law school. I am in law school and we have a clinic where students work underneath lawyers and/or lawyers or teachers (who are licensed lawyers) can give adive or help you with stuff for really cheap if not free. OR just talk to the teachers directly. They will know local and state laws better than anyone plus they will have the passion to help you out and the students will love to work so that they can gain experience.

Regarding voluntary termination of parental rights, in my state, as a general proposition, the courts would not approve termination of one parent’s rights without someone else adopting in at the same time - - why should the child only have one source of support instead of two? The court is most concerned that the child’s support rights are not bargained away by the parent.

See I always thought that the child support was a way to “replace” the parent whom doesn’t physically live there…Or not to replace but you know to count as if the parent is still there giving his/her share of the support…BUT I didn’t know or think that a parent could or even was able to renounce his/her parental rights, I mean the children were made by 2 people not one?! And that other parent should have to take responisbility…It’s a shame that there are many, such as my ex, whom don’t care at all… And then he writes me back and tells me “wait till the children are all grown up and they learn the truth, lmao is all I have to say about that!” I was like what truth, that you don’t pay?! lol…OK…

I don’t understand…He tells everyone he lives for his kids and brags about how he doesn’t have a penny to his name because it all goes to his kids. I wonder whose kids he’s talking about?! Interesting…

I just received a payment, today, thank GOD, was able to pay car insurance on time! 😉 But it was $400 dollars, they take 50% off his weekly check because he owes too much…This means he’s making $400 dollars a week, and I make $350 dollars a week…He lives for himself, new wife and new kids all that money and for his children nothing…WOW what a great father…And I have to figure out how to feed, clothe and shelter 3 children…Must be nice I wouldn’t know…lol

Well thanks anyhow…Hopefully he doesn’t quit this one like the lasst 4 jobs he’s quit in the past 4 years…
