zerinus,

If you could, perhaps you could present what you think is your most forceful argument along those lines here. If you don’t want to do that I won’t hold it against you, but I’m enjoying the debate and think that might help focus where to go next.
I created that Blog precisely in order to save me the trouble of having to give repeat answers to repeat questions. The best way that I could answer your question as you ask is to cut and paste from there, and put it in here. Is that what you really want me to do?

I want you to take a nugget, maybe one reference you think is particularly powerful so that we can focus our discussion. Your blog has too many different things on it to really have a conversation by simply pointing me over there. If that’s what I wanted to do, I wouldn’t come to a forum. Maybe we can deal with some of your more powerful elements piece by piece, what do you think?

Then you couldn’t have read the articles very carefully. I agree that the early Christians were monotheidtic; and so are the Mormons. They were monotheistic in the same way that Mormons are monotheistic. But if you are going to accuse Mormons of polytheism, then you are in trouble; because they were as polytheistic as Mormons are polytheistic. Go back and read the articles again more carefully, and you will know why.

The key is reading what the Church Fathers wrote without projecting your own beliefs into them. Where does Origen espouse that G*d has a “glorified body”? Was St. Justin Martyr right about adoptionism, but wrong about the Trinity?

Given your gross misconceptions about the EcF and current doctrine of theosis, I can’t give you a whole lot of credence on those marks.

I gave you that in the other thread, which you are now trying to dodge. I have nothing further to say, in this or in the other thread.

Yup, and we’re discussing it in the other thread. I posted this before you posted that.
