4)From what I hear the Episcopalian church seems like catholics without alot of the extra fluff, maybe i’m wrong?
Again, search for the truth, not for the best fit. Once you find the truth, you conform yourself to the truth, not the other way around.
5)I enjoy the fact that most priests in your churches are very knowledgeable as I can hear from the catholic answers podcast, as compared to a lot of Pentecostal pastors I grew up watching, where it feels anyone can now be a pastor. I am guessing all priests go through strict studying?
I’m glad you have gotten a good representation of priests so far. But I assure you that we are far from perfect, and there are bad priests as well. Priests do go to seminary for training.
6)Without the whole “my faith is better than yours” stuff. Do you guys take the Episcopalian church serious? aside from the women priests (which I don’t see as a sin).or priests getting married (which I don’t see the bad in that)
They are officially regarded in the Catholic Church as separated Christian brethren. I understand not understanding why the Catholic Church can not have female priests. It has to do with the nature of the mass, the highest worship we can participate in, and a re-presentation of the one sacrifice of Christ on Calvary. The priest is acting “in persona Christi”, and as such, this role cannot be fulfilled by a woman. This is a DEEP topic that will take some time to fully understand.
  1. How do you guys feel about non denomination churches? where its just bible based?
Noted above, separate brethren in Christ. Growing up Baptist though, I can assure you that they are not just Bible based. There is ALWAYS their own personal interpretation of the Bible. Plus, the Bible EXPLICITLY says that the fullness of the Christian faith is not found in the Bible, and the Bible also EXPLICITLY says that we are to know the truth by listening to the CHURCH, not the Bible.
8)besides the catholic church with rosaries and statues and stuff, do you guys take serious any other denomination that doesn’t do all of that, which may share your beliefs?
noted above. They don’t have the fullness of the faith, but they are separated Christian brethren.
9)How do i justify to Pentecostals, when they ask me why would I want to go with a denomination that doesn’t fully follow the bible and adds theirs own things to the faith?
Why do you need to justify to someone else? Seek the truth. If they have questions, let them know in charity what you’ve found, and bring the questions here. We’ll answer them happily! And how do you know that it is not THEM who has added things to the faith not in the Bible? (I bet you’d be surprised at how Biblical the Catholic Church truly is. It makes sense because the Catholic Church wrote and compiled the Bible, so She knows best what is in it and what it means.)
My apologies for this long text but I have a feeling this may be the website to help me with my spiritual struggle, unlike a lot of athiest. I WANT TO be a faithful religious person. I have alot of christian traits in everyday life.
Again, welcome!
