Exactly "when" did Jesus' Church stop growing?

I’ve been introduced to the concept that there is an “original” Church and that this Church never changed since the time of The Apostles.

Supposedly, The Church grew intellectually, but only up until a certain point and then after that, it ceased growing in reveleation.

Anything after that point was considered “change” and all the changes before that weren’t “change”.
