Often I am in such a hurry to get confession over and done with. While I take comfort in knowing that no matter how nervous you are, one can never “mess up” a confession, it is still helpful to sit down, reflect and examine one’s conscious.
Here are some great resources for all ages of stuff you should think about when preparing for confession, e.g. the ten commandments.
Go to usccb . org (no spaces) then go to «Prayer and Worship» and then «sacraments» and finally «penance».
