What happened to me was that an impulse made me do something wrong but the impulse was so strong that it made me do it with full consent and knowledge.

Is that fully culpable or not, since it seems that my full consent and etc. was caused by a previous flare of emotions/will-o-the-wisp?

Only you and God know the details and if you are unsure as to how culpable you are, just confess the act in confession.

Talk to your priest. Your scrupulosity seems to come out in most of your threads.
 
If you simply could not help yourself, then whatever you did was not done with full consent, therefore one of the three conditions for mortal sin was not present.
