but, why is the font so small and sort-of gray, rather than black? I’m 68 with good eyesight, but I think I’d have a headache in ten minutes, straining to read this stuff.

You can enlarge the text on any website by simultaneously holding control, and scrolling up with your mouse wheel.

Alternatively, you can simultaneously hold control and the + or - keys on your keyboard to enlarge or decrease the text.
