I may be prejudiced, but I think that my bishop - the Most Reverend Willliam E. Lori, Bishop of Bridgeport is one of the finest bishops I have ever known. Of course, he is loyal to the Magisterium, but he is also a man of prayer, humility, and graciousness. He listens to his priests and to his flock, but has the courage to make the decisions that are inspired by the Holy Spirit. I wish that I knew him better personally, but I am delighted that he is my bishop. I strongly suspect that we will hear more of him on a national level, as his many pastoral and intellectual gifts are sure to be noticed and appreciated. For now, we are very happy to keep him in our one county diocese. God bless him! :clapping:
