How about just in case it is evil spirits/satan you can say the St Michael prayer for yourself before starting the Rosary?

I don’t really get that many notifications on my phone, it’s not uncommon to go 4 or 5 hours without a single notification, but I’ve found that I always get multiple multiple notifications in the 20 minutes or so I spend praying the rosary, no matter what time of day I pray it at. Strange…

iBreviary is designed for prayer. It includes the Daily Office, Missal, Common Psalmody, Readings, and a treasury of prayers.

It has a read-along voice. It is mechanical and annoying but I use it anyway. It’s free at the App Store, but the developer message pops up, requesting donations.

I empathize with the strangeness there, if all my kids are home i just mute my phone otherwise it’s on very low or vibe since Im easily distracted. God bless!

Thank you, I’m going to download it, are these the same readings as the Liturgy of the Hours that the priests use?

Yes it is the same liturgy of the hours that priests use. Breviary is another name for it. But unlike priests and religious, I don’t say all of them. I think I just use the evening prayers.

I also have a hard copy of “Christian Prayer: Liturgy of the Hours.” It’s an abbreviated version of the Liturgy of the Hours/Daily Office/Breviary. (That’s too many names.) It takes a bit of juggling to find all the prayers, but it’s a good way to recite it, especially if you can do it with a friend or loved one. There’s another mini Breviary called “Shorter Christian Prayer.” I haven’t used that one.

That being said, I am very hit or miss with these devotions. 👼
