My wife and I have been serious Christians for years and have attended various Churches during that time. I always wanted to become Catholic but she seemed hesitant. So I was thrilled the other day when she suggested that we finally seek out a Catholic Church in the area. I’m so excited!

Great to hear it, welcome home! May God bless you and your wife on your journey. 🙂

May God bless you on your journey to His Church and His Truth! 🙂 👍

How wonderful and welcome, I am very excited for you! Since I do not know if you know I shall say this; one must wait until one is fully initiated into the Catholic Church to receive Holy Communion (Baptised, Confirmed, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). I will pray for you and your wife.

May God Abundantly Bless you 🙂

Welcome HOME brother!
So happy for you! Jesus has a great mission in store for you

It’s so wonderful that your wife wants to seek out a Catholic church! 🙂

You don’t have to answer this if you don’t want to, but was there something specific that caused her to change her mind?

Welcome home. Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you & your wife continued guidance & direction to the Church. Praying for the intentions of you & your wife.

Be sure to call your parish and ask about RCIA as soon as possible.

I think a lot of it had to do with me talking a lot about how I believed that the Catholic Church has preserved a lot of the traditions from the earliest believers that other denominations have left out. And a couple of my heroes, GK Chesterton the author, and Ft. Malachi Martin (author/exorcist) were Catholic and I would talk to her at great length at times about them and how much I admired them. I think all of this began to rub off on her 😉

Praise be to God!!! There is something extremely HOLY and BEAUTIFUL in the Holy Catholic Churc!!! It is HIM, truely present and calling HIS faithful to HIM in these most difficult days… be encouraged, you are being called as so many into His Holy Catholic Church. We… truely believers outside the Church are being called in… Praise God!

My love and prayers that you both remain true and faithful to our Lord to the end. Amen.

Wonderful! I will pray for your family during your RCIA journey and when you are finally “done” with RCIA, it’s just the beginning.

Welcome home!:angel1:
