They will hear from me:mad: Kennedy Just said he will oppose a Judge that would threaten Roe v Wade!!!GRRRRRR:mad:
The sad thing about that story is that I heard his mother speak once about how when she was pregnant with him, her friends all told her to have an abortion, she had a very large family they told her and with Mr. Kennedy cavorting around Europe with his movie star girlfriend – it was time for Rose to “lead her own life”. She of course adamantly refused and as she sat talking that day, said so sadly into the camera, and I’m so glad I had him, because he’s the only son I have left. The poignancy of that moment. And to think this idiot has committed himself to the opposite end of the spectrum. Tragic, tragic.

Where would the members of Planned Parenthood be if they exercised thier right in the womb to allow thier parents to kill them? a curious little thought to ponder.
Maybe there should be a group called “Planned Parental suicide” so they could all abort themselves at what ever age they are
Grrrrrr
Br CreosMary:hmmm:
I had a friend very active in the prolife movement who told one of them that she’d change her position only if it was “retroactive” – stopped them cold.

Statement of Eleanor Smeal on the Resignation of Justice O’Connor

Statement of Eleanor Smeal
President, Feminist Majority

July 1, 2005

With Sandra Day O’Connor’s resignation, President Bush could reverse 32 years of freedom and progress for women. Women who have the most to lose will be the strongest voice in the debate over this Supreme Court fight. This time, for once, we will not be ignored.

Let there be no mistake about it, the feminist movement today is declaring a state of emergency to save the court for women’s rights. Twenty four years ago, as president of the National Organization for Women I testified for Sandra Day O’Connor before the Senate Judiciary Committee. I knew then that O’Connor, although a conservative voice, would be one who would not permit the elimination of women’s fundamental rights, including the right to privacy.

Indeed the National Organization for Women played a pivotal role in the nomination of Sandra Day O’Connor – she was nominated in 1981 at the height of the Equal Rights Amendment campaign. One of the reasons she was nominated is that NOW stood outside the White House with thousands of people demanding that President Reagan nominate a woman, and a woman who would not turn her back on the women of the nation. Even a very conservative President heard our voices. And we must make our voices so loud today another ultra conservative President will hear our voices.

We had then, and we have now, the power of the gender gap to save women’s lives … and we intend to use it. We will begin from this conference by a march Saturday, July 2nd to the Tennessee legislative capital so that Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) will hear our voices.

To arrange an interview with Eleanor Smeal, who is at the National Organization for Women national convention in Nashville, TN, contact Erin Carmany at 703-298-7469.

I’ve provided e-mail address & or Web=mail Adresses where available, and contact information that will enable you to get that when I wasn’t able (due to space and time) to get the specific information that you’ll need.

I’ve also provided sample letters and a basic strategy to get us through tomororrow afternoon.

You’ll just have to read a bit in the Thread, but the information is definitely there. Once you’ve sent some E-mails, let me know what you’ve done by posting that on the thread. And, then, Contact at least 3 friends with the information before tomorrow afternoon and ask them to get involved with the E-mails to the President and at least 2 members of the Senate. Again, use the information provided on the Thread. Thank You.

The ONLY WAY these people don’t get away with this is if we “steal the march on them” while they’re being hysterical.

So. Let’s go to work and serve them up a defeat they’ll never forget. I’m tired of losing!

Thank you for all those who will send E-mails and Post any results. your help is appreciated.

Blessings on all those who take action. Michael

Next time you post on that Thread, please remind everyone to contact their friends and parishes about this.

that sure sounds like fun!!!😃 :yup:

I would like to paraphrase what Ms Ireland…the former president of NOW said on FOX TV last night:
If we do away with financing abortions for the poor…then only the rich will have abortions.
That statement made me think about a passage from the bible about how difficult it is for the rich to get to heaven. Another paraphrase: It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get to heaven. Right now the poor people are equal to the rich people when it comes to seeking abortions. Just think of all the “poor people’s” souls that will be saved if they can no longer afford the abortions! Yes, Ms Ireland. You are right. Now all we have to do is pray a little harder for the souls of “the rich”.

On FOX a Karen Pearl from Planned Parenthood was being interviewed about the threat against abortion “rights”:nope: When asked if she really thought it would be illegal if Roe v Wade were overturned she said yes in alot of states. The interviewer asked her if it because some people consider it murder she dodged it and he reeled her back in and asked again, she said,“i don’t think that is what they think,I don’t know what they are thinking”.:nope: He went on to ask her if she felt the founding fathers would have upheld abortion and she started doing the diversion dance and then she said ABORTION IS THE FABRIC OF OUR SOCIETY:eek:   IT IS A BASIC RIGHT:eek:
Lisa4Catholics:

It’s too bad someone doesn’t respond to her with this, “And it was a basic right 150 years ago for one human being to own another, to treat him however he pleased, to profit from his labor without recompense and to, if the slave was a woman, ro rape her without fear of any consequence… And that was considered such a basic part of the fabric of the society in the South that 285,000 Conferate Americans died and some 5 million others suffered untold privation and hardships trying to preserve that right!”

In 1858, The Supreme Court said in Dred Scott V. Sanford, 60 U.S. (19 How.) 393 (1857), that slaves were the property of their masters and that no jurisdiction of any kind could deprive them of their property without due process of law.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dred_Scott_v._Sandford

Anyone reading the decision, how slaves are regarded sounds the same as how unborn babies are regarded in Roe V, Wade.

caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=60&invol=393 (Dred Scott v. Sanford)

caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=410&invol=113 (Roe v. Wade)

The two opinions are not only similar in their reasoning about human life, but they are also similar in effects. The decision has denied the most basic of rights to an entire class of human beings, and has brought our country on the verge of Civil War.

And, let there be NO doubt, the Protection we all once enjoyed is now gone thanks to the slaughter of the Innocents and the slow destruction of our society through the Culture of Death.

That is why we need to win this fight and begin the process of OVERTURNING or REVERSING Roe v. Wade!

Blessed are they who act to save God’s Little Ones. Michael

That is sad:crying: I don’t know what he is thinking:mad:
Kennedy is thinking that if he wants to retain his Senate seat, he’d damn well better push his church out of his life and continue to appeal to the secular humanists and pro-aborts which form his constituency in Cambridge.

How sad is it that one’s political ambitions can hide the fact of millions of babies being slaughtered from your own conscience?

And this Senator is so viscerally anti-Bush that he will work against anyone that the President nominates for these positions. I can already see the temper tantrums coming out of Massachussetts.

Susan B. Anthony said this of abortion:
“Guilty? Yes. No matter what the motive, love of ease, or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed. It will burden her conscience in life, it will burden her soul in death; But oh, thrice guilty is he who drove her to the desperation which impelled her to the crime!”

Abortion was referred to as “child murder.”

Elizabeth Cady Stanton about abortion:
“When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit.”

Mattie Brinkerhoff said this of abortion:
“When a man steals to satisfy hunger, we may safely conclude that there is something wrong in society - so when a woman destroys the life of her unborn child, it is an evidence that either by education or circumstances she has been greatly wronged.”

Victoria Woodhull, the first female presidential candidate said this of abortion:
“The rights of children as individuals begin while yet they remain the foetus.”

And Alice Paul, the author of the original Equal Rights Amendment said this of abortion:
“Abortion is the ultimate exploitation of women.”

Again, the early feminists were PRO-LIFE!!!

Abortion has murdered*** over 1/3*** of our generation and she calls it the"fabric of our society?!?" :banghead:

You will not silence our message.
You will not mock our God.
You will stop killing our generation!
