Hi, Barry - that sounds great!
Send me a private message and we’ll take it from there…
God bless,
Darren.

Marc! Great to hear from a UK Catholic - that is most heartening!
Check out the Exodus 90 website and all of the spiel and see what you think.
It would be absolutely fantastic if we could do this together - don’t suppose you know any other Catholic men in the UK who might be up for this?
God bless you,
Darren

Hey yes I was planning on doing it in January too. I tried it last year but fell of wagon after 20 days…its tough! Those darn cold showers…ugh. But it really is amazing in terms of spiritual growth. The only issue with partnering with someone on here is we’re not allowed to use internet (other than when required for work, paying bills, etc) but I suppose this could be exception since like you I had trouble finding fraternity in my area. Only thing is you’d need to be very disciplined about only visiting CAF or maybe exchange emails

Hi, Aquinas!
Thanks for that.
So, are you interested in joining me/us this year to give it a whirl?
God bless you,
Darren

Regarding the use of the Internet:

While I understand what they have stated as far as only for work and necessary items, I feel the restriction was to avoid the “near occasion of sin” that can easily creep into online surfing. From the mundane to the provocative, I find most surfing time-wasting or simply a waste of time.

However, I am planning on using the Internet during Exodus 90 for my personal growth and development as a Catholic and bring myself deeper into my faith. I have quarantined a slew of bookmarks on my browser to only Catholic sites. I will not be passively lurking on forums here and elsewhere but actively engaged in learning and becoming a better Catholic. No more gaming, watching random Youtube videos, sports highlights, but instead watching a lecture series about Mary on Formed.org or spending time learning Latin declensions etc. I believe this is the “spirit of the law” for that restriction.

Important thing is honesty and accountability. I don’t see issue w that, if share a list of the sites with the fraternity and honestly report to them whether the list is adhered to. Program is literally impossible without external accountability , particularly in use of internet .

Totally. If it is conducive to your formation in faith, then it’s all part of a whole as far as I’m concerned. Cultivation is what we’re about.

We are our brother’s keeper, and we will keep one another on the narrow path, by the grace of God.

We need to get our heads together and coordinate. There are at least four of us as things stand - with the possibility of a couple more. The Exodus 90 app seems to be designed in such a way that one member takes on the role of leader, and then invites all of the other fraternity members into his group: we need to decide who will lead, and we then need to share contact info in order for the invites to go out. Now, this may we be ‘my’ thread which has brought us together, but I think our fraternity leader needs to be one of you chaps in the new world - apart from myself, that’s where you all, physically, are: it makes sense, don’t you think?

God bless you, brother.
Darren.

Hi, Aquinas!

I can’t seem to access the ‘send a message’ button on your profile…

If you read the response that I’ve just sent to Barry, however, you’ll see what my thinking is on initial organisation. Let us know what you think.

God bless you,
Darren.

Ok @UGCC, @Tolle_Lege, @Aquinas11 and any other guy who wants to climb aboard the Exodus90 train, I have set up a fraternity and am willing to be the conductor for this 90 day journey. However, on this route the stewards only serve water, coffee or tea. No alcohol allowed.

The train promptly pulls out of the station on Jan. 13. If you would like to reserve a seat for a first class cabin with an en-suite featuring only cold water then PM me with your details, primarily your email. I will then officially invite you to the fraternity.

We will hopefully pick up a few more passengers this Friday after Taylor Marshall’s interview with the founder of Exodus 90, James Baxter. If not, then we will depart with whom we have on-board. Let’s do this!

Hello!

I saw the Taylor Marshall interview with James Baxter, and commented that I was having a great deal of trouble finding other men in my parish that were willing to take on the Exodus 90 program. I’d be really happy to join an online group.

Hi Barry,

I don’t see an obvious way to send a PM through this platform, but I’m definitely interested in being a part of the online fraternity for Exodus 90.

Thanks,
Lance

I am looking for a fraternity as well, and I’d love to join!
I have no idea how to PM people on this forum, so please shoot me an email. My email is kevindiegoreyes03@gmail .com

I would like to join. I cant private message. If you message me I’ll provide you with my email.
