Lord, thank you for the gift of life. Please continue to watch over this dear baby, Joe, Kirsty, and the grandparents. I ask for a healthy pregnancy and delivery for their baby and the new baby next year. Please fill all with peace and joy for this miraculous gifts they are awaiting. Amen.

Almighty and Merciful God , I pray that You will grant Kirsty a safe delivery without too much pain , of a very healthy baby. I pray also that You will bless the new baby abundantly , and that he/she will bring great joy and happiness to Kirsty and Joe ,

Prayer for a Safe Delivery
Venerable mother St. Anne, obtain for Kirsty, through thy ever-blessed child, the Blessed Virgin Mary, that no accident may befall her, but that her child may come safe and sound into the world. Amen.

St. Elizabeth, through the great blessing which, at the birth of thy son John, thou did receive from God, I beseech thee to obtain for Kirsty the grace that she may be preserved from all danger, and happily bring her child into the world. Amen.

O Mary, Mother of our Redeemer, through thy high prerogative and thy divine Son, I pray thee to obtain for Kirsty the help and blessing of God, that she may happily endure the pains of delivery, and that her child may receive the grace of holy Baptism. Amen.

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed his divinity and his genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.
