Experience Creating a Private Association of the Faithful?

I would like to start a Private Association of the Faithful for a particular purpose I have in mind.

Any experience or tips would be appreciated.

I’m sorry. I should have been clearer.

First of all, this will be not be a Clerical Association nor will it be a Public Association. It will be a Private Association made of of laity.

My question is about the mechanics of starting a Private Association of the Faithful - notification of the Bishop, constitution, mission statement, record keeping, membership, etc.

I’d rather not say what the mission of the association is right now and am sure that the mission. Let’s say for the sake of this discussion that it would promote Eucharistic Adoration, if that matters.
