I’m reading 10 pages per day of this study guide and I think it is a very good commentary. The set of Navarre commentaries is available at the local adoration chapel and I have a goal of reading 10 pages per visit.

I think it is a safe investment for anybody looking for a good set of commentaries – based on my 80 pages of reading so far. I had the one-volume Navarre study Bible for evaluation and I quickly returned it, as it did not seem to have enough comments in it.

As I survey the options. this is part of the 12-volume New Testament series. There are other versions of Navarre reading guides.

It has the text of scripture, with notes below. Very readable.

I have the one volume Navarre NT. I think it is a great single volume condensation of the much larger multi-volume one. It would probably be better if they dropped the latin text from it, and used the extra space for more of their unabridged notes.
