Look at below headline. All of a sudden this girl is an expert on U.S. and State Gun Laws.

‘Big Bang Theory’ star Mayim Bialik slams NRA, calls for ‘civil disobedience’ to change gun laws
 
It’s kind of amusing, how many of the people who voted for a reality-show star for President, now want other celebrities to shut up.

Last time I read the Constitution, freedom of speech did not say “except celebrities.”

This actors/actresses. Most of their careers are already in a steep descent and they want to maintain some sort of ‘importance’ having spent their careers providing mindless entertainment to the mindless.

They want to be important.

They’re chasing importance.

And it’s really a sad state.

Imagine how sad most of the fans to these silly shows are!!
 
Trump is viewed as being in touch with the forgotten man and woman.

That’s why he won.

Other elites are not and many of their views especially on gun control come from a place of ignorance.

Also, I am going to boycott Mayim Bialik and the shows she is in over these comments.

 
The LV massacre, TX church massacre, FL school massacre.

What do all three have in common?

Legally bought assault-style weapons were used by the perpetrators.

I’m all for banning assault-style weapons all out. They have worn out there welcome.

Support gun legislation!

Crowder is an anti-Catholic snob.

I stopped watching his shows after he made ridiculous anti-Catholic comments.
 
I know she has no authority, but I sympathize with her desire to speak or explode. People get tired of seeing dead children sacrificed on the altar of “my right to bear arms,” NRA politic peddling, and right-wing paranoia over gun control.

I too sympathize with the frustration, but that is no excuse to misdirect on a target.

Sadly life issues are not that simple, they are more complex and so are the soutions.

Complexity has served too long as an excuse for inaction, as has lack of proof. Eventually the body count will effect enough voters to defy the political power of the NRA.

Actual statistics show our schools are getting safer, with a significant reduction in school violence and homicides.

I don’t think that was a deflection. Trump’s national fame was built on his success as an entertainer, just as much as Ms. Bialik’s. It’s a valid comparison.

You’re the one deflecting. You claim she shouldn’t be speaking out because no one voted for her. I asked who voted for you. And instead of responding, you deflect.

Celebrities in our nation are citizens just like we are. They have a right to their political opinions, and can use their fame however they choose - at their own peril.

Dislike them for it all you want. But they deserve their speech just like you or I do.
